Southlake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center opened its doors in 2011 with a mission to provide the citizens of Lincoln and the surrounding communities with a state-of-the-art facility where they can rehabilitate or live while receiving world class care and service. Southlake Village achieves this through a multidisciplinary approach using nursing, life enrichment, dining, social services and spiritual care to care for the whole person: body, mind and spirit. Jennifer Wolf-Wubbels, CSW is the Public Relations Coordinator at Southlake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center.

Tell us a little about your business. – As a licensed skilled nursing facility, Southlake Village serves individuals in need of short-term rehabilitation for reasons such as joint replacements, cardiac surgeries, stroke as well as other medical needs. Southlake Village also serves those needing long-term care and memory support care. Southlake Village is proud to serve its residents with Registered Nurses 24 hours a day that provide world class care and services.

How did you get started in the business? – Jack and Eldora Vetter began Vetter Health Services (VHS) in 1975 with the belief that older adults deserve dignity in life. Now, forty years later, the Vetters continue to instill that philosophy in the thirty facilities they oversee. I joined the Vetter Health Services family in 2005 as a Social Services Director. In 2009 I became the Hospital Liaison for two Vetter facilities and in 2011 I joined the Southlake Village team as the Public Relations Coordinator.
