Merritt has over 12 years of industry experience, most recently as Assistant Vice President at Bankers’ Bank of the West in Lincoln. Merritt earned a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln. Union Bank & Trust also recently promoted Ginna Claussen and Debbie Griffin to Officers in Human Resources. Claussen joined the bank in 2011 and has over 21 years of industry experience, and is responsible for developing and maintaining consistent procedures for compensation initiatives. Griffin joined the bank in 2004 and has over 20 years of industry experience, and is responsible for designing and implementing the bank’s comprehensive benefits package to meet the diverse needs of all associates and their family members.
