Southlake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center is pleased to announce that charge nurse Sandra Robertson, LPN has been awarded a 2013 Coalition for Older Adult Health Promotion Annual Scholarship.  The Coalition for Older Adult Health Promotion Scholarship was created to financially reward an individual with the desire to offer quality services or improve/increase existing services to seniors in the Lincoln area.  Sandra is currently working to become a Registered Nurse (RN) through Metro Community College.  Her goal following the completion of her RN is to work in Emergency Services. Sandra has worked for Vetter Health Services for 15 Years; first as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Medication Aide and now as a charge nurse in the skilled rehabilitation area.  Knowing that she is making a difference in the lives of others as she helps them reach their rehabilitation goals is what keeps Sandra working towards her higher education goal. The Southlake Village family is proud of Sandra for being one of the two 2013 recipients of this prestigious Coalition for Older Adult Health Promotion Scholarship.
