Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce the promotion of new leaders within the company.

Derek Buggi was recently promoted to airframe team leader. Buggi joined Duncan Aviation in March 2006 as an airframe technician, and since that time has fulfilled responsibilities of the airframe lead technician and quality assurance RTS II positions. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing all airframe aspects of assigned aircraft projects.

Kasey Harwick was promoted to project manager. Harwick joined Duncan Aviation in 1999 as an interior shop assistant. He has held several positions through the years, including fuel systems specialist, airframe technician and airframe team leader. In Harwick’s new role, he will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of multiple assigned customer aircraft projects from arrival to delivery.

Alex Jozsa was promoted to chief inspector of modifications and 135 coordination. Jozsa joined Duncan Aviation in 1982 as a QA inspector, and later a team leader. Recently, he has been the assistant chief inspector in Lincoln being a leader in 135 maintenance compliance and training for the quality department. In Jozsa’s new position, he will be chief inspector for interior, install, avionics line and paint, and retain the 135 maintenance compliance and training commitments.

Scott Miller has been promoted to paint team leader. Miller joined Duncan Aviation in 2005 as a paint specialist, was promoted in 2011 to paint crew leader and again in 2012 to paint alternate shift supervisor. In his new position, Miller will manage assigned aircraft projects, including the coordination of resources and necessary documentation, as well as communication with team members and customers.

Scott Stenka was also promoted to project manager. Stenka joined Duncan Aviation in 1995 as a sheet metal specialist. He later transferred to the install department as a fabrication technician, and in 1999 was promoted to fabrications team leader. Most recently Stenka was assisting the engineering PMA certifications area. In his new role, he will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of multiple assigned customer aircraft projects from arrival to delivery.
