Star City Optimist Youth Foundation to Host Pitch, Hit & Run Contests in April in Lincoln, Nebraska

The Star City Optimist Youth Foundation (SCOYF) will host four local Pitch, Hit, and Run contests April 21 – 24 as part of the Major League Baseball national program.  Boys and girls ages 7-14 will compete in separate gender divisions in 4 age categories.  These free contests will all be held from 6 – 8 pm at:  Tuesday April 21 – Kahoa Elementary, Wednesday April 22 – Humann Elementary, Thursday April 23 – Fredstrom Elementary, and Friday April 24 – Maxey Elementary. The Star City Optimist Youth Foundation (SCOYF) helps coordinate the joint activities of Lincoln’s Optimist Clubs with the goal of providing opportunities for success to youth.
