Community Crops invites the Lincoln community to join them for their annual Feast on the Farm celebration, to be held at Prairie Pines Farm (112th & Adams) on August 9 from 5-9 p.m.

A lusciously good time will be had by all while raising money to support Community Crops. Community CROPS is a Lincoln-based non-profit organization that helps people grow healthy food through a network of 11 community gardens, the Growing Farmers Training Program, vibrant youth projects, CSA (vegetable subscription) and educational classes.

Plenty of delicious food from local farmers will be featured from 11 local chefs: Bread and Cup, Chez Hay, Daffodil, Dish, Grateful Greens, Maggie’s Wraps, Pepe’s Bistro, PopArt, Sebastian’s Table, Shen Cafe, Single Barrel, Taco Parral and beer by Zipline Brewing Company.

To complete the evening, Lye Soap will be playing their Bluegrass rhythms and over 25 fantastic silent items will be available to bid on. This event has sold out for the past three years so be sure to register soon. Tickets are $60 per person and a sponsor table of 8 is $1000. Tickets for Community CropsFeast on the Farm can be purchased online at www.communitycrops.org.
