Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, and The Landing at Williamsburg Village, an Immanuel Community, announced the start of a collaborative building project on The Landing’s south Lincoln campus. The two organizations hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on May 15th that kicked-off construction of the community, an innovative and visionary skilled nursing and long-term care residence for Lincoln’s most discerning seniors. The celebration included remarks from Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler, who presented a proclamation to commemorate the day, as well as a special, surprise presentation from The Landing residents.

The innovative community features 15 private suites—two built for couples—along with many shared indoor and outdoor living spaces where residents are encouraged to interact, form relationships and live their daily lives in an environment that’s just like home. The collaboration brings together Tabitha’s historic, award-winning nursing care with Immanuel’s excellence in living community design and support. The project is further complemented by the two organizations’ common focus on Christian-centered, compassionate care.

The building project, slated to open to residents in early 2014, is just the latest in an ongoing and growing collaboration between Tabitha and The Landing. Those who want to learn more about residence opportunities are encouraged to contact Tabitha Continuum Navigation at (402) 486-8520.
