Legacy Retirement Communities is excited to announce “Cooking with Purpose”, the next session in “A Legacy of Learning.” Attend this highly interactive cooking demonstration to gain a healthy perspective on home cooking, sample a taste of Legacy fare and learn to cook for yourself in your very own home, just like a professional!
According to Robert Darrah, director of food services, “Attendees will learn about using herbs and spices instead of salt as a flavor enhancer, how to read nutrition labels and also how to select fresh produce.” Attendees will also have the opportunity to win one of four gift cards from local markets.
In the following sessions, Lincoln residents will have a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of what senior living communities offer, as well as dementia and Alzheimer’s information.
Legacy Retirement Communities is committed to being a leader in senior living by raising the bar in our industry and offering helpful resources to Lincoln and the surrounding area. To reserve your seat, or for more information about the “Legacy of Learning” educational series, visit www.legacyretirement.com or contact Kayla Schaf at (402) 436-3000.
