The Nebraska Community Blood Bank’s (NCBB) newest location at 4900 N. 26th Street has officially opened.  The new site, which has been open for collections since July 1, was recognized with a Lincoln Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony in conjunction with their open house on July 11.  The celebration brought together Chamber members, NCBB staff and the community.

In addition to the new 4900 N. 26th Street location, NCBB also has collection sites at 100 N. 84th Street and 1631 Pine Lake Road.  They also partner with the community to host blood drives at businesses, civic organizations, places of worship and schools.

Since 1968 Nebraska Community Blood Bank has been committed to connecting people and saving lives.  NCBB supplies lifesaving blood to healthcare facilities in six counties throughout southeast Nebraska.  For more information about the Nebraska Community Blood Bank’s (NCBB), or to make an appointment to donate or to host a blood drive, call 1-877-486-9414 or visit NCBB.org.
