Dr. Andrew Bateman is the owner of Clear Vision Eye Care.

How did you get started in the business? – I started in undergrad as an intern at another clinic here in Lincoln, so during my last year of optometry school I came back to Nebraska to look for job opportunities.  While I was back I received a call from the Fallbrook development about the opportunity to open a clinic from the ground up.  Being a hometown boy, I have always loved Lincoln, and my wife Katie and I decided to take the plunge and start from scratch.

Tell me a little about your family. – My wife Katie is from Nashville, TN.  We met at UNL and have been married for 8 years.  We have a 2 year old daughter named Alece who likes to spend time exploring the clinic and interacting with patients.

What are you the most proud of? – I have always believed in the famous quote “you are the company that you keep.”  Along those lines I am proud of my family and our extended family that are our friends.
