Tell us a little about your business. – ABC Seamless has been a staple in the home improvement industry in Lincoln and Southeast Nebraska since 1986. We are a second generation family owned and operated business that specializes in the installation of Seamless Steel products that are nationally recognized as some of the best exterior products in the industry. At ABC Seamless of Lincoln we pride ourselves on our exceptional workmanship and top-notch customer service.
How did you get started in the business? – I was born into this business, and I have been involved in it in one way or another since I could walk. My father, Mike “Willy” Williams started this business and I am going to proudly carry on his legacy.
Tell us a little about your family. – I have been married for four years to my wife Amanda who runs the office, and we have a three year old son named Pfieffer who just likes to run.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I like to ride bikes so you can typically find me out on the trails somewhere. I also like to commute to work on my bike if I can.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I carry only one type of pen (and it ran out of ink writing my responses to this questionnaire, but luckily I also have plenty of back-ups on hand!).
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – You always have to make a plan. And then be prepared for that plan to change so you’ve got to have a back-up plan. We came up with the saying in the office here: ABC—Always Be Changing.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – My ability to do long division in my head, perhaps?
Which talent would you most like to have? – To be able to juggle bean bags like I juggle all of my duties on a daily basis.
If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – EATING.
What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – My favorite is The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J. R. R. Tolkien.
What is your favorite TV show? – What’s a TV show? Honestly, we don’t have cable and rarely watch any television. If I have free time it’s not spent sitting!
What is your favorite local restaurant? – Sultan’s Kite…“mmmmmm gyros!”
