How did you get started in the business? – I have a strong background in business operations and as a Compliance Analyst in insurance. I love business networking and marketing.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – At ServiceMaster every day is different from the last, and while it is challenging I enjoy the spontaneity and creativity that it brings out. After working for 8 years, I had the opportunity to be a stay at home mom and as rewarding as that was, I was really excited to rejoin the work force. I think it is important to lead by example, and I try to be a great role model for my kids and younger sisters.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – I like to be challenged and I take pride in the fact that I have been able to learn, adapt, and grow in many different roles. I also enjoy contributing to the success of the business and working for a company that puts our community’s best interest as our top priority.

Tell me a little about your family. – I have been married for 12 years and we have two amazing children. My daughter is 4 and my son is 1.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – I have spent a lot of time traveling abroad to Indonesia, Bali, and throughout the Caribbean. This has given me more appreciation, a very open mind and a diverse sense of the world and finding beauty in the unexpected.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I like being outdoors, especially going swimming, hiking, and skiing.

What are you the most proud of? – I am most proud of my values and being able to see the silver lining in most situations. I have the ability to look at people and situations without bias. I also like to consider alternative means, perspectives and outcomes.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – You get what you give. What’s meant to be will be. Be the change you want to see.

If you had a theme song, what would it be? – “Corner Stone” by Bob Marley.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – I like to dance and write poetry.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – I would own an interior decorating store and import furniture, art, and jewelry.

What is your favorite local restaurant? – Parthenon, Issara, Billy’s, or Banhwich Café for lunch.
