Claritus is a company that specializes in providing clear solutions for document and parcel processing needs.  They sell, service and support different types of hardware and software that assist businesses in processing various physical documents, electronic documents and parcels.  Jai Bohl is the Director of Finance & Administration for Claritus.

Tell us a little about your business. – We assist businesses in processing physical documents, electronic documents and parcels.  We offer products that create or manipulate customer communications to products that print, address, insert, group, store, text, email or mail these items to the customer in their preferred delivery method.  This includes everything from invoices to marketing mailings.  We also provide various warehouse solutions that save our customers time and money managing parcel or freight shipments.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – We have quadrupled in size since I started here 9 years ago.  My biggest challenge has been to create the architecture of a big company, while maintaining the feel of a small company to our customers and our employees.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Hiring and developing a team that makes me look better than I truly am.

Tell us a little about your family. – I have been blessed with five nieces and nephews.  I always say the best thing about being an uncle is that I don’t have to know the word “No.”

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Rediscovering my faith and finding a church that feels like home.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – You’ll either find me on a single track mountain bike trail or at a baseball game.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I have a minor in Classical Literature.  You don’t find many accountants with that background.

What are you the most proud of? – Being the best possible uncle that I can to my nieces and nephews.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Resolute.

If you had a theme song, what would it be? – “Undiscovered” by James Morrison.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Super speed.  I was huge fan of The Flash when I was a kid.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – My ability to write poetry or short stories.

Which talent would you most like to have? – To be able to play the piano or guitar.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – Teaching.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – I am a huge fan of the Game of Thrones series.

What is your favorite movie? – Stealing Home.

What is your favorite TV show? – Revenge.

What is your favorite local restaurant? – Honest Abe’s.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? – Jesus.
