Tell us a little about your family.
I am single and am the oldest of three girls. I have been blessed with five nieces and nephews that I enjoy spending as much time with as I can.
What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
When I came to The Waterford I had a mentor who taught me so much and pushed me outside my box constantly to learn new things and get out of my comfort zone. By taking these leaps of faith she pushed me by seeing more in me than I saw in myself which enabled me to be placed in my current position.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
Anything outdoors and anything that involves spending time with family.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
Even though I have a very outgoing and positive personality I don’t like big crowds of people especially having to speak in front of them.
What are you the most proud of?
My work ethic and my love of God and church. Both have seen me through a lot in my life and I believe both have brought me where I am today.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
It is something my father once told me: ”Do the kind of job that if, at the end of the day, your employer had to pay you what you were worth, they couldn’t afford to keep you…and remember that if your employer is paying you to do 100% everyday you give him 110%.”
What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish?
For a personal goal it would be to take all five of my nieces and nephews to Disney World in Florida.
How would your friends describe you?
Compassionate, caring, having high morals and integrity that I won’t sacrifice for anything, not afraid to stand up for what I believe in, great sense of humor, and always putting others before myself.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
Making wood crafts.
Which talent would you most like to have?
Being able to speak in front of large groups of people with confidence.
What is your favorite book or the last good book you read?
Heaven is Real. Such a heartwarming and genuine book.
What is your favorite movie?
Facing the Giants
What is your favorite TV show?
The Gifted Man, CSI: Miami, Mike and Molly, and The Voice.
What is your favorite Lincoln restaurant?
Lazlo’s and Granite City
If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be?
Mother Teresa…what a caring and God loving woman.
