SequrComm is the result of the merger of Q Comm and SequrID, which was incorporated in August of 2013. Q Comm has been a part of the Lincoln community since 1993, bringing years of experience in communications and electronics. SequrID was established in 2010 and brings knowledge of security, data recovery and business continuity to our new venture. Our company is led by Kyle Dailey – CEO, Greg Boggs – CTO, Steve Converse – COO, Carlos Guerrero – Director of Sales and Marketing, and Stephen Boggs – Director of Business Development and Marketing.

There has definitely been a change in mindset over the years in relation to technology and security. Phishing and scams have increased tremendously, making it necessary to incorporate security protocols sooner than before. Traditional targets (email, virus, etc.) aren’t the only things being breached anymore. Everything on your system can be compromised, so it’s essential to have a professional involved with the security of your business, both for the company’s sake and your personal information. We foresee that there will be a push for seamless integration of all technologies from audio visual to data storage in the near future. Security will need to be the number one factor for businesses as the need to protect both business and personal data increases. Standards will become more stringent and there will be a lower tolerance for sloppy or haphazardly done work. The demand for professional knowledge in both technology and security will become the norm as the speed of communication increases and becomes more precise and focused.

The merger of Q Comm and SequrID gave us the opportunity to bring together the right people in the right place at the right time to fill a need in the community. We now have the ability to provide technology and communication solutions outside the normal scope of an IT company. Merging companies is sometimes tough, but we’ve been able to create a great company culture here. The environment is very conducive for collaboration and effective workflow and we have been blessed to maintain rapid growth for our business since August of last year. We love doing business in Lincoln, because of the sense of community Lincoln has and the opportunities for growth. As Lincoln expands, it gets closer and closer to becoming a technology hub in the Midwest and we’re here to help with that progress.
