Walker Tire / Quick Nick’s is proud to announce that two of their diagnostic technicians, Chad Kinnaird and Reilly Placek, have successfully earned their ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification. In addition to passing an ASE Certification test, which is the highest level of certification, automotive technicians must have two years of on the job training or one year of on the job training and a two-year degree in automotive repair to qualify for certification.
Chad graduated from Southeast Community College, where he was on the Dean’s list, in 2010 and was in the Navy where he was an Aviation Structural Technician before joining Walker Tire / Quick Nick’s in 2012. Chad is now ASE certified in Engine Repair, Suspension & Steering, Brakes and Electrical / Electronic Systems.
Reilly graduated Southeast Community College in 2013. Reilly is now ASE certified in Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission, Manual Drive Train & Axles, Suspension & Steering, Brakes and Engine Performance.
