Union Bank & Trust recently welcomed Dan Gutzmann as Business Banking Advocate & Officer for its new Catalyst initiative.

The Catalyst Business Banking Advocate is a new position at Union Bank that helps entrepreneurs or small businesses move more quickly to develop their ideas, implement change, or expand while providing customized support with flexible financial solutions. Gutzmann, who owned Mural Mural Graphics in Lincoln, has over 20 years of entrepreneurial and small business experience. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln and studied Small Business Administration at Southeast Community College. He actively supports the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, Lincoln Children’s Museum, Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital and the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Union Bank & Trust established Catalyst to help small businesses and startups be more successful. To support the effort, the bank is opening a 1,400-square-foot space in the new Canopy Street/Railyard development of Lincoln’s West Haymarket which will be a place entrepreneurs and small-business people can use for creative thinking, collaboration, networking and presentations.
