Union Bank & Trust recently promoted Nancy Barnett and Cari Kaup within the 529 College Savings Group.
Barnett, promoted to Vice President, has been with the bank for over 26 years and College Savings Plans for 9 years. She leads the College Savings Group Operations area, overseeing the daily plan operations, fund accounting process, tax, audit and general reporting and coordinates system updates. Barnett previously served as Project Manager in Retirement Plans Services, and has earned the Certified Retirement Services Professional designation from Cannon Financial Institute. Barnett studied Business Administration at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln.
Kaup, promoted to Vice President, has been with the bank for over 12 years. She leads the 529 College Savings Group Client Service Call Center, oversees the fulfillment center and assists with marketing, sales and relationship management. She oversees the bank’s industry leading 529 customer care center that services over 150,000 account owners and advisors from all 50 states. Kaup earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Communication Studies from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln.
