The Southlake Village Family is pleased to introduce their new Director of Nursing, Lisa Smith. Lisa has been a nurse for 30 years and recently moved to Lincoln from Clinton, IL after her husband Rodney’s company, International Paper, asked him to take on a new role in Omaha.   Lisa has also been a Dementia Unit Coordinator, Restorative Nurse, and an MDS/Care Plan Coordinator. She began her career as an LPN and continued her schooling to become an RN in 2004. She has been a Director of Nursing for two other facilities for a total of seven years prior to coming to Southlake Village.  Lisa is thrilled to be a part of the Southlake team, stating “I really love working with older adults, and working for a company that has the vision and values that Vetter Health Services has. We truly are ‘family serving family.’”

Southlake Village is owned and operated by Vetter Health Services, and was specifically designed to meet the needs of seniors requiring short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing services. At Southlake Village, they have created a culture of rehabilitation and overall improvement of health and their team is dedicated to encouraging and motivating patients to excel in therapy and regain daily life skills.  For more information about Southlake Village, please contact Jen Wolf-Wubbels at (402) 327-6300, by email at jwolf-wubbels@vhsmail.com, or visit www.SouthlakeVillageRehab.com.
