She graduated from the University of Michigan (with highest distinction) and Stanford Law School (with honors), where she was an editor on the law review. Novak has been a law clerk on both the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. Before returning home, Novak practiced at Irell & Manella LLP, which has a nationally recognized intellectual property practice. Novak will focus on intellectual property litigation, bolstering Gober Hilgers’s patent, trademark, and copyright practice.
