Black Hills Energy Names Greg Shinaut Nebraska Community Relations Manager

Natural gas service provider Black Hills Energy has named Greg Shinaut its Nebraska community relations manager. He replaces Jan Davis who retired in 2011 after 20 years of service with the company.

Greg Shinaut is leading the company’s community relations effort in Nebraska to renew franchises in cities where Black Hills provides natural gas service; develop and enhance relationships and communication with communities, and with business and civic leaders in Black Hills Energy’s Nebraska service territory; inform and educate communities about Black Hills and energy issues; and coordinate the company’s community relations programs and projects.

Shinaut joined the company in 2000 as customer relations representative for residential construction in Lincoln, Neb. He has been involved with community activities for the company in Lincoln such as paint-a-thon, United Way and Junior Achievement, and this fall led one of the company’s weatherization teams there.
