WasteCap Nebraska has launched a new service to help event planners dramatically reduce waste, and increase recycling and composting at events. GoZERO is a service that provides supplies and logistics for medium to large-sized events. The service provides compostable supplies for food vendors, signage and attractive zero waste tents for sorting waste into recycling, composting and landfill containers. Volunteer training and logistics are also provided, including arrangements with haulers of recyclable and compostable materials. GoZERO’s first event will be at Lincoln Earth Day on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
