The Child Advocacy Center will hold the 4th annual Monster Dash Fun Run on Saturday, October 6, 2012. The Monster Dash is a 5K or 1 mile fun run through the countryside at Roca Berry Farm. All proceeds benefit the Child Advocacy Center.
Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children. Registration is available online through Active.com (keywords: Child Advocacy Center Monster Dash) or via a mail-in registration form which is available online at www.smvoices.org. The deadline for registration is September 26, 2012.
The top three male and female finishers in the 5K will receive a gift card from Scheels All Sports; the top three finishers in the 1 mile run will receive a family 4-pack pass to Roca Berry Farm. All participating children ages 10 and under will also receive a free mini-pumpkin courtesy of Roca Berry Farm.
The Child Advocacy Center is a private, nonprofit organization that provides help to children who are victims of serious physical and sexual abuse and their non-offending family members in 17 counties in southeastern Nebraska. In 2011, the Child Advocacy Center provided services to 1,010 children and their families.
