Prairie Life Golf Scramble Benefit to Help Fund Affordable Housing

Prairie Life Fitness, located at 1305 S. 70th Street in Lincoln, is holding its ninth annual Golf Scramble at Crooked Creek Golf Course on Saturday, July 14th. Proceeds from the four person scramble tournament will go to support the Lincoln/Lancaster County Habitat for Humanity.

Funds raised by this event will go toward the purchase of much needed building materials for the next home that is scheduled to be built later this summer. Lincoln Habitat will also use more than 100 volunteers to build this home…volunteers who are willing to donate their time and energy on the construction site to see that substandard housing becomes a thing of the past here in Lincoln and all over the world.

The shotgun event, which is open to all levels of golfers, includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, range balls, numerous pin and door prizes–including a $10,000 prize for a hole-in-one. Prairie Life Fitness will also be treating all golfers to a lunch afterwards at Crooked Creek Golf Course. Registration deadline is June 30th.
