Please open your doors and your pocketbooks on Sunday, October 12 to Friendship Home’s Safe Quarters volunteers. With the goal of knocking on every door in Lincoln, these dedicated volunteers will be armed with buckets and information about the devastating impact domestic violence has on the Lincoln community.
Although Friendship Home has over 1,000 volunteers participating, some homes will be missed. If volunteers miss your home, please take your donation to any Lincoln Union Bank location throughout October or donate securely on-line at www.friendshiphome.org.
Last year, volunteers collected over $110,000. Funds collected provide a safe, confidential home, crisis services and ongoing support for families who are rebuilding their lives because of domestic violence.
