Lincoln-based radio station 104.1 The Blaze is pleased to announce that their Kamp Out for Kids fundraiser will take place at Spike’s Bar and Grille on 2300 Judson Street on Friday, December 6th beginning at 10:00 a.m. and on Saturday, December 7th beginning at 8:00 a.m. All members of the community are invited out to Spike’s to listen to a live broadcast from 104.1 The Blaze, drop off a toy or cash donation, place a bid in a silent auction, enjoy great food and drinks; and even participate in a volleyball tournament, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7th at Spike’s Bar and Grille.  Toy donations gathered at the event will go to children living in poverty served through Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders Counties. Monetary donations from the fundraiser also benefit Community Action, which offers over 15 poverty-fighting programs and services designed to empower families living in poverty to achieve long-term economic self-sufficiency.
