Junior Achievement wishes to thank U-Stop Convenience Stores and Whitehead Oil for partnering with JA for the “Coins for Kids: Your Gift is Their Future” campaign.  Throughout the month of November coin collection canisters were displayed on every U-Stop checkout counter.  Customers dropped in their extra change and helped bring financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and business ethics programs to K-12 classrooms across Lincoln. Thanks to the support and generosity of U-Stop Convenience Stores and Whitehead Oil, a total of $2,443.63 was raised.

Look for the Coins for Kids canisters this month at every Goodcents Subs & Pastas in Lincoln.  Thank you to Goodcents for their support of Junior Achievement’s mission of promoting financial literacy and entrepreneurship to Lincoln’s youth. For more information about Junior Achievement or how your business can participate in Coins for Kids, please contact Jessica States, JA Director of Special Events, at jstates@jalincoln.org.
