The Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Lincoln has hired Joshua Shasserre as its new executive director.  Founded  in 1999, the Catholic Foundation offers opportunities to financially support the spiritual, educational, and charitable works of all Catholic parishes, schools, diocesan offices and agencies.

As executive director, Shasserre ensures that the Foundations’ more than fifty endowments are effectively used in accordance with donors’ intent and the charitable needs of the Diocese of Lincoln.  In so doing, Shasserre also serves as the planned giving director for the Diocese of Lincoln.  Shasserre holds dual degrees from the University of Illinois and a law degree from Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  He is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Nebraska.  A member of the Knights of Columbus, Joshua also serves as president of the Catholic Lawyers Guild of the Diocese of Lincoln and as a Lincoln board member for the Nebraska Foster Care Review Office.
