Friendship Home has partnered with StarTran, Three Eagles Communications, Wal-Mart, and Sam’s Club for their annual Stuff the Bus event.  Stuff the Bus is a drive for NEW items that will be used by women and children escaping domestic violence who stay at Friendship Home. The items donated will stock the shelter shelves for the coming year. Friendship Home volunteers will be at each of the Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores in Lincoln on April 13th and 14th from 10am to 5pm handing out needs lists for its shelters.  Anyone who would like to donate as a part of this event is welcome to pick up a list, choose some items from the list to purchase, and take them back out to the bus. Deejays from the stations of Three Eagles Communications (1240AM KFOR, 106.3 KFRX, KX 96.9, 92.9 The Eagle, ESPN 1480, and 104.1 The Blaze) will be there to help fill the buses too!

Friendship Home provides safe shelter, support, and advocacy for battered women and their children. Services include emergency shelter, transitional shelter, crisis intervention and referral to community services.
