Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), Roper & Sons and the University of Nebraska-Omaha are pleased to invite the public to a visionary and collaborative workshop, Begin with the End in Mind, to be held this fall on Tabitha’s main campus in Lincoln.

Begin with the End in Mind invites participants to lift the veil from the often negative stereotypes associated with end-of-life planning and to live life building your story, your legacy. The series includes three sessions led by four of Nebraska’s celebrated visionaries in end-of-life care. Part one explores writing your own obituary, instructed by Dr. Masters and Paige Toller, Ph.D., associate professor and assistant director of UNO’s school of communication. Part two features Steve Olson, funeral director at Roper & Sons, and explores both the informative and compassionate sides of funeral planning. The final session is led by Tabitha Hospice Medical Director and champion of end-of-life and palliative care, Dr. Lisa Mansur, MD, FCCP, FACP, to discuss planning and protecting your end-of-life wishes.

The workshop series is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. To register, call the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at (402) 476-6265, visit olli.unl.edu or email olli@unl.edu. Sessions will be held the second Friday of September (12th), October (10th) and November (14th) from 2 – 3:30 p.m. at Tabitha’s LifeQuest Conference Center, located at 4720 Randolph St.
