Tabitha supporters came together recently to celebrate the organization’s services at Art of Continuum, a fine art fundraising auction. The event featured more than 40 local and nationally known artists, and brought in $95,000 in sponsorships and donations.

Auction pieces spotlighted well-known local artists as well as some of the best-kept secrets in the Lincoln art community. Nationally renowned, local treasures Susan Puelz, Charley Friedman, James McClelland and Michael Forsberg were a few of the generous contributors who brought a wide range of creative formats from painting and sculpture to jewelry design, photography and contemporary abstract.

Longtime supporters of Tabitha as well as new corporate friends made the event possible through sponsorships. Presenting sponsors included Immanuel, The Pharmacy, UNICO, Union Bank & Trust, and Dr. Rod and Debbie Basler.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support Tabitha’s continuum of Elder Care services and the 2,500-plus Elders Tabitha serves each day though in-home support, Tabitha Meals on Wheels, living communities, rehabilitation and end-of-life care. More than 75 percent of the individuals Tabitha serves are unable to pay for their care without some form of assistance.
