Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are pleased to invite the public to a program helping individuals and their significant other, friend or family member explore issues surrounding memory support. The workshop, titled Avoiding the Brain Strain: How to Keep Your Brain Stronger, Longer, is a 10-week program beginning January 14, and will be led by speech language pathologists and graduate students.

Centered on providing education and solutions, participants in the clinic will focus on developing strategies to improve independence and safety with daily functional skills and activities. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, receive guidance from professionals, and brainstorm and implement techniques to manage daily memory loss challenges.

Those interested in attending can register via phone at (402) 472-6792 or (402) 416-2936. Cost to attend is $80 per couple and space is limited. Couples can include spouses, friends or family members. Deadline to register is December 15.
