Nebraska Health Care Association Announces Changes

The Nebraska Health Care Association and its affiliates announced several changes related to its structure, location, staffing, and identity.

As adopted by its members from across the state, the Nebraska Health Care Association (NHCA) now serves as the parent organization to the Nebraska Nursing Facility Association, Nebraska Assisted Living Association, Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association, and Licensed Practical Nurse Association of Nebraska. NHCA also oversees the Nebraska Health Care Learning Center, a licensed and accredited post-secondary college, and the Nebraska Health Care Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on supporting Nebraskans’ long term care education needs.

NHCA and its affiliates moved to 1200 Libra Drive, Suite 100, in southwest Lincoln in October.

NHCA also added Nick Faustman to its Leadership Team in November.

NHCA and its affiliates recently adopted new logos to illustrate the family of organizations.

NHCA also renovated its Web site, www.nehca.org, to reflect a renewed focus on professionalism and quality to those it serves. Nebraskans are invited to visit the site to learn more about the educational programs, advocacy opportunities, job openings, and other resources provided by NHCA’s affiliates.
