Although orthopedic surgeon Dr. Pat Clare is looking forward to retirement in July, that hasn’t stopped him from running full steam at his practice, Nebraska Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, P.C. (nebraskaortho.com).  Dr. Clare finished up his last season as the Team Physician for the Nebraska Huskers in January, but will still continue to see patients before his retirement this summer.  He co-founded Nebraska Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, P.C. in 1987 and since has helped it grow into a practice of 14 physicians specializing in a range of orthopedic surgeries and sports medicine.  A UNL and UNMC alumni and former Cornhusker football player himself, Dr. Clare also served as the University of Nebraska – Lincoln’s Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon and Team Physician for the Athletic Department for over 30 years.
