Lincoln’s first mother/daughter owned, experiential ground travel company Soul Experiences recently celebrated its first anniversary! Glatha and Kendra Rathjen hosted a Lincoln Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on March 13th in honor of their company’s milestone, which is currently housed in Suite 308 of the Entrepreneurship Center at Southeast Community College.
Glatha is an ambitious entrepreneur who desired to extend her working life well into her retirement years, so Soul Experiences was a perfect fit. Kendra, a Lincoln native and travel enthusiast, made the decision to join her mother to help create a tour company that helps travelers make positive connections on a social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and/or physical level. Soul Experiences specializes in tours that get clients “off the beaten path” so they can discover new places or new twists on old favorites and create memories that will last a lifetime. The staff takes care of all the planning so all their clients have to do is experience their own unique travel opportunities!
