Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is proud to announce the opening of its fourth location in northeast Lincoln at 8222 Holdrege Street, Suite 10. Owner Will Carter grew up in nearby Hickman and began looking for restaurant concept to develop that would make a great addition to the area. Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. is widely recognized as the nation’s largest barbecue chain, with almost 500 locations in 40 states. Due to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s growing popularity in Lincoln, Carter has grown the locally owned and operated chain to four restaurants across Lincoln. The other three locations are in southeast Lincoln on Apple’s Way, 27th & Cornhusker, and downtown at 12th and P. Open daily from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., Dickey’s Barbecue Pit prides itself in authenticity, innovation and fantastic barbecue sauce. To celebrate the recent expansion, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit hosted a ribbon cutting with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce at its newest location on February 19th. This event kicked off a three day grand opening celebration which offered guest a chance to try out Dickey’s signature barbecue far while taking advantage of great specials.
