Hurrdat announced the launch of its new sister company opendorse at a recent office open house. In the past year, Hurrdat developed the Athlete Engagement Platform, a technology that allows brands to seek online endorsements from professional athletes. opendorse will expand on this technology, opening the platform to any online influencer.

“opendorse is an open-endorsement platform that connects brands with influencers of their target markets. Think of it like a match.com for the endorsement industry. We’re just simplifying the process,” founder and CEO Blake Lawrence said.

Lawrence will retain his role as CEO of Hurrdat, but will be shifting his primary focus toward the product and business development of opendorse. Co-founder and Chief Operations Officer Adi Kunalic will continue to oversee things at Hurrdat while having an advisory role at opendorse.

The company is assembling its advisory board and will release those names at a later date, as well as its intent to raise funds.

While Hurrdat and opendorse are separate entities, both will be housed in Hurrdat’s offices in Lincoln’s Haymarket District.
