Gary Michaels Clothiers owner Gary L. Novotny has most recently been selected as one of thirteen men’s clothing professionals in the United States to participate in an export project endorsed by the Italian government. The Italian Trade Commission will be inviting these store owners and buyers to Italy in an effort of collaboration to increase their exportation to the United States. Gary Michaels currently does business with a significant amount of Italian vendors, which was a prerequisite to be selected by the Commission.
Novotny stated, “This is a very humbling and rewarding experience. As a Nebraskan, to evaluate new Italian designer lines that have not entered our country at the retail level is quite gratifying.”
