The second annual “Garden Party” fundraiser was held on Friday, June 20th at the home of Paige and Shayne Zutavern.  The 45-plus guests helped to raise over $2,500 for the Alzheimer’s Association.  Live music, cocktails and delicious food provided by ChefauChef, Aces Haus of Cuisine and Carmela’s Bistro was just the beginning of what awaited guests.

Earl May’s manager, Cory Brabec provided a tour of the Zutavern yard while sharing gardening tips and ideas.  The Earl May staff also provided a hands-on Fairy Garden demonstration, and each guest was able to make their own Fairy Garden to take home.  This part of the evening, which was raved about by many of the guests, was made extra special when Earl May generously announced that they were donating the $10 per Fairy Garden supply fee to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The evening’s excitement didn’t stop there!   As the sun went down the fire dancers appeared, delighting the audience with three performances.  Guests didn’t forget the reason they were there, and when the live auction began the bidding was hot for the garden themed items.

Strictly Business and Hospice Community Care would like to thank the following sponsors for their support: Lincoln Family Funeral Care, Cheever Construction, Earl May, Legacy Retirement Communities, Homestead Rehabilitation Center, Health at Home Consultants, Guardian Angels Homecare, Bridge to Better Living, Physicians Choice Home Health, and Infinity Promotions. Finally, thank you to all who attended the Garden Party in support of the Alzheimer’s Association. The Zutaverns look forward to hosting this event again in the fall of 2015!
