After 18 years of working in the Omaha community, Joe Sevening ventured into a new area of construction and landscaping, which led to him starting Midwest Security Laminations. Joe had noticed many of his landscaping customers were requesting security options in the Omaha area as they realized that after building a new structure or home, it is important to protect the time and effort that has been put into the project. Midwest Security Laminations became Joe’s solution to this often forgotten area of construction.  He also provides services to existing homes and businesses.

Hy-Vee’s Mission Statement, ‘Making lives easier, healthier and happier,’ says a lot in only a few words. The statement is the reason behind the expansion at the Williamsburg Village store at 40th & Old Cheney which is set for GrRe-and Opening in late April.

‘Our overall goal was to make the ultimate shopping experience for our customers,’ says Jeff Quandt, store director. To accomplish that, Hy-Vee updated the facilities and expanded the building resulting in an additional 20,000 square feet of space to expand sections and make the store more user-friendly for shoppers.

The store has a new pharmacy with an improved waiting area and a private consultation room. It is open seven days a week with an enhanced drive-up lane for face to face service. In addition to the pharmacy, a 5,000 square foot Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits Shop was added to the facility. Features include a 20’x40’ walk in beer cooler and 40’ of cold craft and imported beers. The shop has over 1,000 wines and a large selection of spirits.
