Angela Paolini got involved with ServiceMaster PBM of Lincoln when she married her husband, Jon, who had been with the company for seven years. She started as a housekeeper with the business, then an office assistant. When the current owners were ready to retire, Jon and Angela purchased the business in August of 2009. Now, as co-owner of the business, Angela handles marketing, bookkeeping and office operations. Service Master PBM cleans buildings, including floor waxing, polishing and cleaning. They offer daily, weekly and monthly janitorial services and specialty cleaning for restaurants and healthcare facilities as well as furniture cleaning, construction clean-up, hard surface floor care and deep carpet cleaning. They are the first cleaning company in Nebraska to be certified by Green Seal in Green cleaning.
Tell us a little about your family. - I have been married to Jon for 7 ½ years. I have a 15-year-old stepson and Jon and I have a six-year-old together. Jon and I love traveling, wine tasting and making jewelry together. Our family loves the holidays, playing board games and taking walks and hikes together.
What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? - Getting married is the biggest. Second to that would be carrying, delivering and now raising a little person.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? - Hide away in my studio where I try to make impossible designs come to life in the form of wearable art, namely jewelry.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? - I love putting together clothes in interesting ways. I love fashion. I collect clothes and shoes. I also collect interesting dinnerware, tea/coffee/pitcher serving sets. I love all forms of serving ware to the point of a random obsession I think.
What are you the most proud of? - My mixed media art piece being accepted in a juried live auction for First Plymouth Church’s “Art aCross Lincoln” fundraiser.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? - Communication is the key to any relationship’s success.
What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish? - Have one of my works of art shown in an art museum.
How would your friends describe you? - Random, funky, kind, thoughtful and fun.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? - Life coaching.
Which talent would you most like to have? - The ability to turn off the emotions when need be. The ability to strategize in great detail. I can strategize in vision but not detail.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? - I would like to be slow to speak, not scatter-brained and less forgetful.
What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? - The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien
What is your favorite movie? - What Dreams May Come, Sweet Home Alabama, the Bourne series…cannot narrow that one down…sorry.

What is your favorite Lincoln restaurant? - Dish and Green Gateau
If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? - Present: Bono…hands down…Bono! Past: Audrey Hepburn…again…hands down!
