R. C. Krueger Development Company has been in business since 1987, serving the Lincoln business community. Krueger Development develops mixed use centers providing preliminary building and site design for tenants and owners, striving to create long-term value for them. Krueger Development puts focus on small business ownership by designing and constructing properties for clients to purchase for their operations and leasing out a portion of their building.
A family oriented business, it was started by Rick Krueger and his father, Calvin Krueger who both continue to own the company and be involved in daily operations. Other family members on the team are Rick’s daughters, Stephanie and Madalyn, Stephanie’s husband Andy, Rick’s son Christopher and Rick’s wife Valeree. Staff includes Maxine Halsey, Accountant; Marlene Stroup, Architectural Designer; Judy Elgert, Property Management and Lot Sales; Sandra Huamancha and Kylie Wyatt, Accounting Assistants. Construction staff is lead by Supervisors Dale Schenk, Dennis Smith and Jim Brummond.
The company is currently focused on the installation of infrastructure at the Woodlands Enterprise Center at 84th and Yankee Hill Road to provide for small to medium business owners. The property is designed for buildings as small as 5,000 square feet allowing many businesses to achieve ownership. These sites can be adjusted to accommodate almost any layout to provide for present needs and growth. The WEC is part of Krueger Developments’ larger plan, The Woodlands at Yankee Hill where residential lots are now available in a variety of sizes and prices.
St Michael’s Church and School is the centerpiece of The Woodlands at Yankee Hill. The school opened for the 2012-2013 school year with construction of the church to commence in the near future. The convent and day care are also complete and in use.
Some of the properties currently for lease or sale are 6301 South 58th, a stand-alone building in the Trade Center; 8400 Cody Drive and 8141 South 15th Street, both in the Yankee Hill Business Center which are set up to accommodate any changes business owners wish to make.
Potential tenants and owners have the benefit of working with Krueger staff from finding the best location for their needs to being handed the keys to the completed space.
