Business Spotlight: Ebbeka Design
It’s the dreaded talk most couples fear; time to take the next step in the relationship, time to take the plunge. 11 years ago, Amy and Bob Ebbeka decided it was their time-and they opened a start-up business together.
In today’s hustle and bustle of World Wide Web connections and brand overload, clear and concise communications are essential for each and every business. Enter, Ebbeka Design. They do just that.
Last summer, Ebbeka moved from South Street to the Haymarket. The thriving community serves as a muse for their creative work. Their office is located at 8th and P Street, right above The Mill.
“The atmosphere in our building and the Haymarket is exactly what our team needed to get the creative juices flowing on a daily basis,” said Amy, creative director. “ Step downstairs to the Mill dock and you’ll bump into all sorts of interesting people—an actress practicing her lines, a group of Bosnian immigrants gathering for their weekly cup of tea, a man sitting on a bench practicing acoustic guitar. It’s all inspiration for the taking.”
Check out their online profile at EbbekaDesign.com and think of them next time you’re in the need for new, sharp marketing materials.
